On March 9, 1826, Pennsylvania Governor John Andrew Shulze signed the charter officially establishing Lafayette College. This action set in motion, over our 195 year history, a trajectory for our success highlighted by the many students who have become change-makers for the world.

Join President Alison Byerly and the Lafayette community for a very special Wine 3/9 celebration. Our evening will feature a presentation on the history of Lafayette’s founding by Thomas Lannon, Director of Special Collections and Archives. Wine 3/9 would not be complete without a toast to Lafayette’s past, present and future.

Bring The Best

In 2017, President Alison Byerly launched the President’s Challenge. Wine 3/9 is our chance to rally the Lafayette community to support financial aid. Follow along before and during the Challenge, which officially launches on March 9 at Bring the Best today!
